Ugh! I started Tyce on his first antibiotics yesterday and I also had to give him a steroid that's supposed to help dry up the fluid in his lungs. I am NOT a fan of putting anything unnatural into my babies pure little body but I let it go as long as I could hoping he would fight it on his own and it was only getting worse. I was worried that it could turn into ammonia and he'd end up in the hospital so I did what I thought was best. He looks worse today then he did yesterday. I just hate the antibiotics kill the good germs as well as the bad. I am thankful however, that we live in today's times and can treat almost anything and we don't have to fear every little bug they get.
On a brighter note, Tyce said his first word yesterday and it was no doubt Ma Ma!!! He's been very close to saying it the past few days and was really trying hard and I, of course, have really been working with him on it. Then yesterday, in all of his frustration from being sick, as he was crying he finally said it clear as day, "Mama!" Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...I melted my heart! He said it a few other times throughout the day and has already said it this morning :O LOVE it! Toby's first word was Dada so we're even. Lol. Toby got SO excited when he heard him say it too because he's been helping me trying to get him to say it as well. It was really cute!
